I’ve never been to vineyards on the West Coast, but say that Loudoun County, Virginia outside of D.C. has the closest growing conditions to Napa Valley. The county has 40 vineyards, and there are certainly more in surrounding areas and the rest of the state. Here’s my take on some of the vineyards closest to D.C. I admit I’ve only been to the following three D.C. area vineyards so far (as well as Early Mountain Vineyards near Charlottesville, Virginia), so I will certainly be trying more and will update this list. I have enjoyed all three and think that they’re some of the best!

Best Brunch Spots in D.C.
If you know anything about Washington, D.C., you know that brunch is very much a part of the city’s scene. And when I say brunch I mean bottomless brunch a.k.a. bottomless mimosas or any other type of alcohol.
Three Days in the District
Last week, I was lucky to be able to spend a few days in D.C. for work reasons as well as to visit some of my friends who I hadn’t seen in almost a year. This was my fourth time visiting D.C., so this time, I wanted to do some new things and things that weren’t as “touristy” (Although, I still did walk the monuments!). Here’s a list of some of the places I went (food included) and why I liked them.
